The Ju 87 D-5 is a modification of the legendary Junkers Ju 87 Stuka strike aircraft, developed in the mid-1940s. During the modernization process, the aircraft's weight increased and in order to reduce the wing loading, the wingspan was expanded, which also allowed the small-caliber machine guns to be replaced with new forward-firing cannon armament. Despite its low speed and average climb rate, the aircraft possesses good maneuverability, allowing it to enter and exit a dive without difficulty. The Ju 87 D-5's primary armament consists of two 20 mm MG 151 cannons, and the defensive armament consists of twin 7.92 mm MG 81 machine guns with the gunner behind armored glass. A variety of external weapons include 7.92mm machine guns or 20mm cannons, as well as bombs weighing up to 1,800 kg, which are unlocked after completing in-game missions.
